This coffee is the result of the vision of Don Higinio and Doña Aura, who in 1988 transformed a small agricultural plot into an exceptional coffee terroir. Today, this family-run estate is home to a rich mosaic of varieties: Red and Yellow Bourbon, Pache, Pacamara, Castillo, Typica, Catuai, Caturra, and other rare cultivars.
Grown under the shade of inga trees, pines, avocado trees, and natural forests, Las Moritas coffees offer a unique aromatic complexity shaped by outstanding biodiversity. Alongside coffee, the family continues to grow corn, beans, tomatoes, and peaches, reinforcing the farm’s role as a vital food source for the local community.
In the cup, this coffee is tailor-made for espresso. Round and creamy, with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, and nuts.
In short: a Mars bar.
